Figma Converter for Unity transfers Figma layouts to Unity while preserving the hierarchy of the original Figma project. It imports PNG, JPG, and SVG files, creates prefabs and 9-Sliced sprites, downloads TTF fonts, and can generate TextMeshPro, UI Toolkit, and UniText font assets.
The converter can automatically detect required Unicode subsets, including Latin, CJK, and Cyrillic, based on the text used in the project. It can also generate localization files and scripts, with GameObjects automatically serialized into generated scripts or into your own scripts. Single-color sprites can be automatically colorized to white for color overlays, while scene backups are created during the import process. The converter also avoids creating duplicate sprites.
The import process can automatically create Unity UI and layout components from the Figma design:
An offline ZIP copy of a Figma project can also be imported. This workflow allows a Figma Free subscription to import the same project an unlimited number of times without encountering the “429 Too Many Requests” error. The separate tool used to create the ZIP copy is required for this workflow.
Figma Converter for Unity works with additional assets from the Dependencies tab and supports Unity UI Extensions. UI Toolkit is supported through a separate extension. The built-in MCP Server also works with Cursor, Antigravity, Coplay, and Codex, allowing these tools to navigate the asset documentation and answer frequently asked questions.
The asset supports any OS, and its UI and logs are localized into English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Spanish, German, French, Indonesian, and Hindi.
