Unity Dinosaur Character Pack

Jurassic Pack Vol. I Dinosaurs contains 13 playable dinosaur creatures with controllers, scripts, prefabs, complete animation sets, three skin textures per model at 2048×2048, 16 eye textures at 128×128, and three LOD levels. The package also includes artificial intelligence, inverse kinematics, creature management, and a survival system covering damage, health, hunger, thirst, and fatigue.

Creatures and Animation

Each creature includes its own controller, scripts, prefab, and complete set of animations. The models have three LOD levels, including a mobile-friendly low-poly version under 1500 polygons. Animations are static/in-place, which is an important consideration when planning how the creatures will be used in a character or gameplay system.

AI and Creature Control

The included dinosaur AI supports autonomous behaviors such as herd behavior, pack hunting, searching for food and water, and avoiding obstacles. Creature movement and targeting can be controlled through the Path editor and Target editor. A target-looking and look-around system is also included, while the inverse-kinematic system handles foot placement on terrain.

The built-in Creatures Manager provides controls to add, remove, and manage creatures during gameplay. The package also includes a ready-to-use survival system with damage, health, hunger, thirst, and fatigue bars, making the creatures applicable to gameplay loops where their state and survival need to be tracked.

Rendering and Included Scene

A demo scene is included for working with the creatures and their systems. The demo scene is intended for the Built In Render Pipeline only and is not compatible with URP or HDRP. Sound FX files are not included.
