Unity Modern City Pack

Modern City Pack contains 36 unique buildings and a collection of street props, road parts, sidewalks, guns, and decals for constructing detailed urban environments. Its architecture and small environmental details are inspired by New York City streets, with most buildings based on real-world prototypes. Each building has day and night versions and an LOD, allowing the environment to be used with a realtime day and night cycle.

Buildings and Street Details

The 36 buildings include two detailed interiors: a player's apartment and a gun store. Street dressing includes fences, fire hydrants, pay phones, newspaper boxes, fuse boxes, and trash cans with physics setup. Road and sidewalk pieces provide different turns and crosses, while decals cover graffiti, signs, and posters.

The package also includes guns constructed from separate parts and prepared for animation. Demo scenes are included to provide example environments using the assets.

Textures and LODs

Buildings and street props have LODs for handling different levels of scene detail. Buildings are available in separate day and night versions. Texture atlases use 1024x1024 and 2048x2048 resolutions, with 4096x4096 sheets used for 5-10 buildings at the same time. Tileable brick, concrete, and metal textures use 512x512 maps and are accompanied by bump and specular materials. Road parts and sidewalks use 2048x2048 textures.

The assets are described as suitable for mid and high-end PC use because of their level of detail and texture resolutions.
